Meet Dr. Samir Kulkarni
Dr. Kulkarni joined Radiology Associates of Wausau in 2017.
He is originally from southwest Michigan and completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Michigan State University. Dr. Kulkarni then completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. After residency, he continued with an additional year of advanced subspecialty training at UT Southwestern in the field of breast imaging and intervention with Dr. Phil Evans.
During his fellowship, Dr. Kulkarni performed research on the advanced applications of breast MRI.
Dr. Kulkarni and his wife have enjoyed moving back home to the midwest and look forward to becoming a part of the community in Wausau.
